The love of a sister

Making sure Emma doesn't fall off the chair
Kelsey, Avery & Maddie
My best friend

One of the greatest gifts I believe I have given to my daughters is each other. I don't think I would be the women I am today if it wasn't for my sister. It is a hard bond to explain and some are more complicated than others. Ours is simple. I'm here for you and you are here for me, we don't judge, criticize or hurt each other in any way. You mess with my sister, you mess with me. I hope my girls will have the same type of relationship with each other because there is no one that can replace your sister. You feel the same pain and happiness. When my sister hurts I can feel it all the way from Alabama. She is the strongest woman I know and has more beauty inside and out that she will every realize or admit. My girls are blessed to have a Nannie/Aunt like her and I am just as blessed to have her two girls as my godchild and niece.
I am so proud of Avery already taking on the roll of big sister. She watches out for her and sometimes understands what she wants more than I do. Emma looks at Avery like she is the brightest star in the sky. Tonight I have no idea what they were doing in the tub but they both were laughing so hard, it was the best sound ever! If Avery is crying Emma runs to her and puts her head on her lap. My girls have the best rolls models. Kelsey and Maddie are another pair of amazing sisters and no doubt the best cousins. When they come to town Avery & Emma light up like it was Christmas morning. You can see the love they have for each other pouring out.
We definitely make strong beautiful women in pairs in my family. Sisters will never part and no matter what happens in life we know we will have the love and support of our sisters. My sister deserves the best life has to offer and I know she will have it. I love you sis.

It's a Small World (Emma's favorite ride)

Daddy & Avery in Magic Kingdom

Disney is the happiest place on Earth

So what better time to really start my blog than after returning from Disney. I thought I would be exhausted and stressed when we got home but quite the opposite. The girls had the best time. They did so well on the drive too. An eleven hour drive home with a three and one year old seems crazy. I return home feeling closer to my family than ever and so thankful for every moment.
