Mommy Project 52: 4 DIRTY

Dirty is nothing uncommon in my home. We had our usually amount of kid dirt, paint, snacks trailing through the house but then Emma started moving and it looks as though we have 5 toddlers not just one. No matter how many times I clean her up throughout the day she still looks like a little disaster at the end of the day. I have given up on bibs, they are pointless. There is always mystery foods and markings on her. She also now likes to put food and toys down her shirt and mine also. I think I was trying to be a neatfreak to some point until Emma came along. I no longer organize toys, clean up every drop of juice or pick up every cheerio. I would be crawling on the floor all day long if I did. Emma is a messy dirty kid, but the cutest one I have ever seen. She is definitely a free spirited kid and we are loving every minute of it.

Mommy's Project 52:3 Challenging

My original plan for this week's post was to take pictures (which I did) of different areas in my home that needed improvement. My home seems to be a unorganized disater these days and I was going to tackle one thing each day as my "challenge". That all changed after I videoed Emma this afternoon. I decided to share that challenge with you instead. This is Emma's way of asking for anything and everything she wants.....
......Enough said.

Saints game

Emma attended her first Saints game and I'm pretty sure she had a blast. Avery was so excited for her 2nd game. She had the biggest smile on her face and kept asking when we were going to the basketball, I mean football game mommy. We only made it through the first quarter, they had ran out of steam by then and were ready to see their cousins at home.

Project 52:1 Teaching

Since we just spent a week with my sister and nieces I think a post about the way they teach my kids is perfect. Maddie is trying to help Avery with her alphabet . They paint together, play together, cook together, and they learn from each other every moment they are together. The most important thing they teach each other is how to be strong women and that sisters and cousins are always there for each other.

They learned about gymnastics this week with Kelsey and Maddie taught Avery tap tap.
